Survivors know how to do primitive cooking

They will need to learn some primitive cooking skills if they plan to survive. They will need to boil water with hot rocks, cook on a flat rock instead of a frying pan and bake in a pit in the ground instead of an oven.

Primitive Cooking in the bush is not the same cooking at home in the kitchen. If all you have for starters is a knife you will have to make your own cooking utensils and pots.
This on top of hunting and collecting your own meal and making fire under primitive conditions.
